Description

Meet the 2027 Polaris ProStar S4 Voyageur® Adventure Ultimate 2.0—a sport-utility sled that’s built for the kind of winter days that start with a plan and end with a story. Finished in , it looks ready to slip out of the trailer and straight into the trees, the lake crossing, or that long ribbon of trail that always seems to lead to “just one more mile.”

At the heart of it all is the ProStar™ 998cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel twin—a smooth, confident 4-stroke that’s happy to cruise, hustle, or haul. Hit the electric start, settle your thumb on the thumb throttle, and let the fuel-injected response do the talking. Power flows through a CVT with belt drive, backed up by reverse for the moments when the snow gets deep and the turn-around gets tight. It sips regular fuel, so the only thing “high maintenance” about your day should be your standards for the next destination.

The Voyageur® Adventure Ultimate 2.0 is made to cover ground and stay composed while doing it. Its MATRYX aluminum frame keeps things purposeful and planted, and the stance is tunable—39" to 41"—so you can tailor how it feels on trail versus off-trail stretches. Up front, High Clearence IFS with independent A-arms and 9 inches of travel helps the sled track cleanly and handle surprises without turning your ride into a wrestling match. Out back, the BackTrak15 suspension brings 16.5 inches of travel, with two rear shocks and a center shock, all set up with shock-mounted adjustment so you can dial things in as conditions (and cargo) change.

Traction is handled by a 155" Crossover track that’s 15" wide with 2" lugs—a combo that’s ready for fresh snow, chopped-up trail, and the in-between stuff winter loves to throw at you. Up front, TrailBreaker composite skis with carbide skags help keep steering crisp and predictable, while the manual handlebar steering keeps you connected to every line choice.

This sled is also built for real-world adventuring—meaning you can bring a passenger and your plans can get bigger. The two-piece seat offers room for both rider and co-rider, with a dedicated passenger backrest to keep the second seat feeling like a seat (not an afterthought). When daylight fades, the high-mounted LED lighting keeps the route visible and the ride rolling.

And when “adventure” turns into “navigation,” you’re covered. RIDE COMMAND™ GPS is on board, along with Bluetooth® audio and mobile app instrumentation, so you can stay oriented, connected, and entertained without turning the cockpit into a cluttered mess. Helpful essentials like a fuel level gauge and a temperature warning light keep you informed while you focus on the trail ahead.

Utility doesn’t just mean capability—it means options. With rear rack rails and a receiver-style rear hitch, the Voyageur® is ready for gear runs, backcountry weekends, and the kind of winter chores that feel suspiciously like fun. Add in smart touches like skid-resistant driver floorboards, a belt guard, and a snow guard, and it’s clear this sled was designed to be used—not just admired.

If you’re looking for a two-up, go-far, do-more snowmobile that balances trail comfort with serious utility attitude, the 2027 Polaris ProStar S4 Voyageur® Adventure Ultimate 2.0 is ready to turn cold mornings into warm memories.
