Description
Meet the 2027 Polaris 650 TITAN® SP 155 in —a snowmobile that looks like it’s dressed for a midnight run and built to make winter plans feel way too small.
This is a widetrack touring machine with the kind of attitude that says, “Sure, we can go farther,” and the manners to make the ride there comfortable. Up front sits the Patriot™ 650—a liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke with DOHC breathing, 74.8 mm bore and 74 mm stroke, and fuel injection for crisp response when you squeeze the thumb throttle. Hit the electric start, let it settle in, and you’re ready to roll on regular fuel with gas/oil injection handling the mix.
Power delivery stays smooth thanks to a CVT with belt drive and a P-85 / TEAM BOSS clutch setup. And when the trail (or the situation) calls for a quick reset, reverse is right there—because nobody wants to wrestle a touring widetrack around by brute force.
Where the TITAN® SP 155 really starts to flex is down where it matters: footprint and stability. A Cobra Track stretches 155 inches long and a massive 20 inches wide, with 1.5-inch lugs that look ready to bite into whatever winter throws down. Add in an adjustable ski stance ranging from 39 to 41 inches, and you get a planted, confident feel that makes packed trails, fresh snow, and wide-open stretches all feel like fair game.
The ride is backed by suspension designed for real-world winter variety. Up front, the High Clearence IFS uses an independent A-arm layout with 9 inches of travel, paired with Polaris IFP adjustable gas shocks and shock-mounted adjustment so you can dial things in. Out back, the BackTrak20 rear suspension brings 16.5 inches of travel, supported by two rear shocks plus a center shock, all Polaris IFP adjustable gas units. It’s the kind of setup that helps keep the sled composed when the day gets long and the terrain stops being polite.
The chassis is built around an AXYS® aluminum frame, keeping things strong without feeling clunky, and the sled comes in at a dry weight of 650 lbs—substantial enough to feel steady, purposeful enough to feel like it’s made for work *and* play. With 12.6 gallons of fuel capacity, it’s also ready for the kind of “let’s keep going” decisions that happen when the route is good and the sky turns that perfect winter gray.
Comfort and control come standard in the way you’ll actually notice: a one-piece vinyl seat, a high LED headlight to push back the dark, and adjustable heated driver grips to keep your hands happy when the miles add up. A fuel level gauge keeps tabs on your range, and a temperature warning light keeps you informed when conditions demand attention. The floorboards are skid resistant, the hand grips are rubber, and practical protection details like a belt guard and snow guard are in place—because winter is messy, and machines should be ready for it.
Steering is manual through a handlebar, with TrailBreaker plastic skis and carbide skags up front for that bite-and-track feel when you’re carving your line. Stopping power comes from Titan Hydraulic braking with a hydraulic disc setup at the rear—confident, predictable, and easy to trust.
And when it’s time to bring something along, the receiver-style rear hitch is waiting. Because touring doesn’t always mean traveling light—it just means traveling smart.
All told, this TITAN® SP 155 is the kind of snowmobile that makes winter feel less like a season and more like an open invitation.
