Meet the 2027 Polaris Patriot Boost Switchback® Assault® 146 - Race IFS, dressed in and built for riders who want one sled that can play nice on the trail—and then immediately go looking for trouble off it. This is a crossover with a trail-first attitude, but it’s the kind of “trail” that ends when you spot an untouched line and decide your day just got better.



At the heart of it is the Patriot™ Boost: an 840cc, turbocharged, liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke that’s fuel injected and oil injected, ready to fire up with electric start (or tug it to life with the pull start when you’re feeling old-school). Thumb the throttle and the power delivery feels eager and sharp, routed through a CVT with P-22 / TEAM LWT clutches—built to keep things responsive when the terrain changes from groomed confidence to “hold on, this is getting interesting.”



The MATRYX aluminum frame keeps everything feeling purposeful, while the Independent A-Arm front suspension and 9.5 inches of front travel help the sled stay composed when the trail turns choppy. Out back, the IGX rear suspension brings 16 inches of travel and two rear shocks, with WER® Velocity adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs at the front, rear, and center—so you can fine-tune the ride for your pace and your playground.



Traction comes via a Cobra Track—146 inches long, 15 inches wide, with 1.352-inch lugs—the sweet spot for blending planted trail manners with the ability to claw into softer snow when you point it somewhere unplanned. Steering is direct and rider-driven with manual handlebar control, and when it’s time to rein things in, the Matryx Stealth hydraulic disc brake delivers crisp stopping power.



Long days are part of the plan: a low tinted windshield, heated adjustable driver grips, hand guards, and a clean one-piece vinyl seat keep you comfortable.
