Description
Dressed in , this 2027 Polaris 850 RMK® SPS 146 looks like it was born for steep lines and deep snow—the kind of sled that makes you take the long way back just because the powder looks untouched over there.
At the heart of it is the Patriot™ 840cc liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder 2-stroke that’s eager to snap to attention with a thumb of the throttle. It’s fuel injected (gas/oil injected) and happy on regular fuel, keeping the vibe simple: grab the pull start, light it up, and point it toward the next bowl. Power runs through a CVT with belt drive and P-85 / TEAM LWT clutching, and when the trail tightens or you need a quick reset on a slope, reverse is there to save the day.
The MATRYX aluminum frame keeps things purpose-built and mountain-minded, while details like skid-resistant running boards, tunnel braces, a belt guard, and hand guards quietly do their job when conditions get rowdy. Up front, the RMK® React™ independent A-arm suspension with 9 inches of travel teams with Polaris IFP adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs for a front end that stays composed when the terrain gets unpredictable. Out back, the RMK rear suspension brings 16 inches of travel with two rear shocks plus a center shock—also Polaris IFP adjustable gas units with remote reservoirs—so it’s ready for everything from rolling approaches to hard-earned drop-ins. RMK® hydraulic disc braking adds confident control when gravity wants to negotiate.
And then there’s the business end: a Series 6 track measuring 146 x 15 with 2.6-inch lugs, built to claw for traction and keep you driving forward when the snow gets deep. With a stance adjustable between 36 and 38 inches, a ProTaper™ handlebar steering setup, and a low LED headlight (tinted), it feels ready to thread trees, sidehill with intent, and pop into the open when the mountain finally gives you that perfect line.
One seat, one mission: ride higher, climb farther, and make look even better covered in fresh powder.
