At the heart of this RMK is the Patriot™ 840—a liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke horizontal in-line engine with reed valves and fuel injection. Translation: quick response, crisp running, and the kind of power delivery that makes you grin inside your helmet when you roll on the thumb throttle. It sips from an 11-gallon tank, runs on regular fuel, and uses gas/oil injection, keeping things simple when your day’s focus is finding the next pocket of powder, not babysitting your setup. Starting is classic and straightforward with a pull starter, and when it’s time to back out of a spot or reset your approach, you’ve got reverse on tap.
