Description
Meet the 2027 Polaris 850 RMK® SPS 165 in —a mountain sled that looks as ready for deep-snow mischief as it feels the moment you grab the bars. (And if your crew likes options, the RMK® SPS lineup also comes in Gloss Black and INDY® Red / White Lightning / Gloss Black.)
At the heart of the fun is the liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder Patriot™ 840cc two-stroke. It’s fuel-injected (gas with oil injection), sips regular fuel, and fires up the old-school, always-reliable way: pull start. Thumb the throttle and the CVT belt drive keeps the power flowing smoothly while you pick your line, and when the slope gets tight or the turnaround gets spicy, you’ve got reverse ready to save the day.
This RMK® SPS is built on the MATRYX aluminum frame, keeping things light and responsive with a dry weight of 428 lbs, while the chassis and running boards are made to keep you planted—skid resistant where it counts, with practical touches like a belt guard and snow guard for the messy, real-world side of mountain riding.
Up front, the RMK® React™ independent A-arm suspension with 9 inches of travel and adjustable Polaris IFP gas shocks helps you stay precise when the terrain gets choppy. Out back, the RMK rear suspension delivers a big 16 inches of travel with two rear shocks (plus a center IFP), so you can float through whoops, settle into sidehills, and keep momentum when the snow turns technical.
And then there’s the business end: a Series 8 165 x 15 track with towering 2.75-inch lugs—the kind of bite that turns deep powder into a playground. Pair that with Gripper® skis, carbide skags, and ProTaper™ handlebars, and you’ve got a sled that feels eager to carve, climb, and generally make your “quick ride” last all afternoon.
Finish it off with a low, tinted LED light, heated adjustable driver grips, a clean fuel gauge, and a one-piece vinyl seat—and you’ve got a mountain machine that’s equal parts purpose and pure grin, dressed in and ready to chase the next untouched line.
