Description
Meet the 2027 Polaris 850 RMK® SPS 146 ES 7S in —a mountain sled that looks like it was built to disappear into the trees… right after it announces itself with a crisp, ready-to-ride stance.
Crack the throttle and the Patriot™ 840cc, liquid-cooled, 2‑stroke twin comes alive with that sharp, instant response you want when the hill gets steep and the line gets technical. Fuel injection keeps things clean and consistent, and the electric start means fewer excuses and faster “let’s go.” Power runs through a continuously variable (CVT) setup with belt drive and a P‑85 / TEAM LWT clutch pairing, delivering smooth pull when you’re picking your way through deep snow or rolling into a climb. And when it’s time to back out of a questionable idea, reverse is right there—no awkward shoving match required.
This RMK® is built around Polaris’ MATRYX aluminum frame, giving it a purposeful feel that’s ready for the kind of riding where every input matters. At 122.8 inches long and 43.4 inches wide, it’s sized to feel planted without turning into a barge, while the adjustable ski stance (36–38 inches) lets you fine-tune the front end for how you like to steer and sidehill. Up front, the RMK® React™ independent A‑arm suspension offers 9 inches of travel, paired with Polaris IFP adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs. Out back, the RMK rear suspension stretches to 16 inches of travel with two rear shocks plus a center shock—also Polaris IFP adjustable units—so you can dial in the ride as conditions change from fluffy to chopped.
Underneath, the Series 6 track is all business: 146 inches long, 15 inches wide, with tall 2.6‑inch lugs ready to claw for traction when the snow turns bottomless. Gripper® composite skis and carbide skags help keep your line honest, while the RMK® hydraulic disc brake brings everything back under control when the trail drops away.
Inside the cockpit, it’s set up for real riding days: a low tinted windshield, hand guards, adjustable heated grips, and a one-piece vinyl seat. RIDE COMMAND™ GPS, Bluetooth® audio, and mobile app instrumentation keep your ride connected, with clear fuel level and temperature warnings so you can focus on the next chute—not your gauges.
And in , it doesn’t just perform like a mountain machine—it looks the part, too.
