Meet the 2027 Polaris 850 RMK® SPS 165 ES in —a mountain sled that looks like it was built to disappear into the treeline and reappear on top of the next ridgeline, grinning. At the heart of it is the Patriot™ powerplant: a liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke with 840 cc of get-up-and-go, breathing through a reed valve setup and fed by fuel injection. It runs on regular fuel, keeps things clean and crisp with gas / oil injection, and sends its punch out through a single exhaust. The whole experience is simple in the best way: thumb throttle, CVT drive, and belt-driven power delivery that’s ready to snap from “just cruising” to “that line is happening” with a quick squeeze.
When the slope turns from “trail” into “problem,” the RMK personality shows up. Out back, the RMK rear suspension delivers 16 inches of travel with two rear shocks, plus a center IFP adjustable gas shock to keep the chassis composed when the snow turns inconsistent.
