Description
Dressed in , this 2027 Polaris 850 RMK® SPS 155 ES 7S looks like it was built to disappear into the mountains—right up until you crack the throttle and let everyone know you showed up to play.
At the heart of it is Polaris’ Patriot™ powerplant: an 840cc, liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke built with reed valves and fuel injection. Translation: crisp response when you ask for it, and a lively, eager personality that feels right at home in steep terrain. It runs on regular fuel with gas/oil injection, and it lights off with an electric start, so the day begins with a button—not a workout. When the trail tightens or the slope demands a reset, reverse is there to help you regroup and get pointed back toward the good decisions (or the next questionable line).
Power gets to the snow through a CVT and belt drive, managed by the P-85 / TEAM LWT clutch setup. Add in a classic thumb throttle, and you’ve got that intuitive, glove-friendly control mountain riders appreciate—easy to meter in the trees, ready to snap when the meadow opens up.
This RMK is built on the MATRYX aluminum frame, keeping the ride purposeful without feeling bulky. With an overall length of 126.7 in., a width of 43.4 in., and a low-height stance, it’s sized to feel precise when you’re threading between obstacles or setting up for the next transition. The adjustable ski stance—36 to 38 inches—lets you tailor the feel, from quick and nimble to a bit more planted depending on your terrain and riding style. And at 448 lb dry, it keeps things responsive when you’re shifting body position and working the sled through technical sections.
Up front, the RMK® React™ independent A-arm suspension brings 9 inches of travel, paired with adjustable gas Polaris IFP shocks (coil-over). Out back, the RMK rear suspension delivers a generous 16 inches of travel with two rear shocks, plus a matching Polaris IFP center shock—all adjustable gas units. It’s the kind of setup that encourages you to stay on the throttle longer, ride smoother through chop, and keep your line composed when the mountain starts throwing surprises.
The business end is the Series 8 track, and it’s ready to claw: 155 inches long, 15 inches wide, with 2.75-inch lugs. That combo is made for mountain terrain—strong bite when you need it, confidence when the snow gets deep, and the “keep going” attitude you’re counting on when the climb turns from fun to serious.
Steering comes via ProTaper™ handlebars with manual control—direct, natural, and built for active riding. Comfort is handled with a one-piece vinyl seat, rubber hand grips, and heated, adjustable driver grips for those cold mornings that turn into even colder afternoons. Practical touches like a belt guard, snow guard, and skid-resistant running boards keep the experience clean and confidence-inspiring.
Visibility and info are modern and simple: LED lighting with a tinted lens, plus RIDE COMMAND™ GPS to help keep your adventures pointed in the right direction. You also get a fuel level gauge and a temperature warning light, so the sled communicates the essentials while you focus on the terrain ahead. And with an 11-gallon fuel capacity, you’ve got room for a full day of exploring, climbing, and taking “one more run” way too many times.
If you want a mountain sled that looks sharp in and feels even sharper when you put it to work, this 850 RMK SPS 155 ES 7S is ready to turn fresh snow into your personal playground.
