At the heart of it is the Patriot 9R—a liquid-cooled, 899cc, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke that’s fuel injected (gas / oil injected) and happy on regular fuel. Thumb the throttle and let the CVT do its smooth, no-drama work through a belt drive, while reverse is there for those “maybe I didn’t mean to drop in right there” moments.
